Notes on documents
Comments and questions often concern a specific document. When they are exchanged separately, their direct context can be difficult to recover later.
SimpleDMS lets you add multiple notes to a document. This keeps conversations with coworkers connected to the document they concern.
Separate comments lose their context
A question about an invoice or a comment on a contract is clearest when it stays with the relevant document. If the message is kept elsewhere, coworkers need to establish that context again during each conversation.
This makes short discussions about the content harder and separates information that belongs together.
Multiple notes on the relevant document
SimpleDMS supports multiple notes on each document. You can add further comments without replacing existing notes.
The «Notes» tab makes the feature available directly in the document details.
Short conversations with coworkers
Multiple notes enable small conversations with coworkers directly on the document. A question and its answer remain connected to the content they concern.
This keeps the team's conversation together with the document in SimpleDMS.
